Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog)
  Jerome K. Jerome

  2 hours, 20 minutes

Go forth and download. It is my firm and full belief that listening to this makes it one hundred percent impossible to have a bad day.

This lifted my mood today, so here, have an aurgasm:

Yo-Yo Ma plays Ennio Morricone - 'Ecstasy of Gold' (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly)

YEAH. I could describe what this track does to me around the two-and-a-half minute mark, but I think it might be TMI. Mmmnnngh.

I had scheduled a Pyjama Day today, but I have a few things I've been meaning to pick up in the supermarket - and with the sun tentatively peeping out from behind the clouds, the thought of finishing the current Aubrey/Maturin tome (Desolation Island) from a comfy seafront-overlook couch at Starbucks is sort of appealing. The downside: having to make self fit for public display. Hmmm. We will see how motivated I am feeling once my hair is dry.

Father Ted
the funniest show about priests anywhere

Hahahaha. HAHAHAHAHAHA. masldkfj;lsadkjf;sadklfHAHAHAHAHAHA*SNORT*. This show. Twenty-four episodes of stupendously surreal, gleefully ridiculous fucking hilarity. The best way to describe it, if you've watched Black Books, is Black Books:bookselling :: Father Ted:priesthood. And it's funnier than Black Books, because BB only had one Irishman on board, and this one is fully home-grown. Irish humour is super best-o, in case you didn't know.

How to describe.

Catholic priests on a bleak Irish island.

PIMP POST - Akihabara@DEEP

sophistry: ([JE] do our nairu and talk about boy!)

For the past... some... weeks, something has taken over my life. Something strange, and new, and terrible. I caught it, slowly and painfully, bit by bit and byte by byte from sluggish torrent downloads, and have been laboriously undertaking the (even slower and more painful) task of spreading this horrifying plague to others. I shall take them down with me, I think to myself, as I sit hollow-eyed in front of the computer screen. I ain't going down alone.

And now, finally, the time has come. Friendslist, I've been watching a New Show. And I'm here to pimp it to you, whether you like it or not.

Ladies and gentlemen:

And FINALLY, now that I can sit in front of a uni computer for a while without feeling like I should be in the library instead, the last episode of Akihabara@DEEP is, in fact, uploading, and sometime tonight or tomorrow, I will make a PIMP POST OF JOY. And you are all to download. All of you.

Also uploading: S1 of Rome.

All shall love me and despair.
