Ooo. Room sounds like it has vast potential, even if there is not vast space. And you are very right to fight for color. I was told that beige, cream, etc. made it easier for potential buyers/other occupants to imagine their own stuff in that space. Well, fine. When I'm planning to move or sell a place, I'll repaint it.
