You wanna know why I don't read much anymore? When I was a little girl, I read so very very much. Always reading. From the moment I could understand a story. Why I don't read much anymore is well ... I'm 19. People expect me to read "grown up" books. The only grown-up books I've found that gave me the pleasure I used to get from reading are GO and Douglas Adams. I can get away with reading Harry Potter because all adults do it. But man, I don't read anymore because adult books aren't fun to me. I enjoy short stories but that's about as much grown-up lit I can take.

So yeah, rambling, but amen to the effing adult books. Reading is an escape for me, sometimes if I wanted to see adult things, I'd go look down the street. Give me stuff like you're talking about any day of the week.

(also. everyone knows I want to be a filmmaker, but I really really want to make fairy tales for grown-ups. Like really.)
