I just have to say, in the wake of my first *cough*illegalwhat? rewatch since the cinemas:
The last hour and ten (ish) minutes of PotC:AWE is utterly, completely, and wholly: ridiculous, beautiful, perfect, RIDICULOUS, and magnificent, and I may never be able to articulate how much I love it.
ETA: I am going to have one sumbitch of a headache in the morning (leave your remedies here!), but experiencing At World's End on rather too much extremity-numbing 140-proof absinthe (leaving you shitfaced but with an odd, transcendent clarity of mind) is not to be missed. The *fingerquotes* 'mind-altering properties' of the minute amount of wormwood in even the real stuff = hilarious MythBuster-esque romanticism - but I still can't really articulate the consciousness-elevating, coherency-preserving properties of the emerald draught. Mmmm.
