Presentation = success! Well, ish. Wegian. I phrased some things kind of retardedly and said "Uh," a lot, what with being up since ass o'clock this morning, but on the whole, it went perfectly okay.

Now, to attempt to stay awake long enough that I don't wind up waking up at ass o'clock again tomorrow.

I defy you to find anyone who doesn't say "Uh" a lot in presentations, anyhow. Or at least feels like they do.

I didn't! But I did find out during coffee break that professor, inspired by my watching underground Brazilian no-holds-barred fights for my presentation, intends to let us watch Fight Club or bits thereof in class at some point (it will be "very instructive!"), and also that much of the class is a fan of Rome. We nerded wistfully about its production costs.

For all my FUCK ACADEMIA, I love that I can have classes where we can spend ten minutes seriously discussing the efficacy of headbutts and crotch-punching as offensive tactics.

Well, I was kind of classically scatty for this one; Murphy's Law taking over college printers (HATRED AND RAGE), arriving breathless and panting five minutes late with still-hot printouts, rustly piles of handwritten notes everywhere, etc. But I don't even care! See my comment to Sweeney re: the kind of discussion we can have in this class.
