Oh, and I am now on Episode 4. S2 Octavian - WOW. I don't think I've had so immediate a crush since FotR. (Brutus in his baptism scene was also very impressive)

I actually took a couple of episodes to warm up to new!Octavian - both in the sense of liking him in the part, and uh, warming up to him, wink wink, nudge nudge. But mostly that was because I was mourning the adorable mop-headed snotty brat of S1. HE'S SO AMAZING THOUGH. And every so often, in case you start to doubt it, they put him onscreen with Titus Pullo and AWWWW, IT'S LIKE HE'S A BABY WITH HIS WEAPONS COACH ALL OVER AGAIN. Octavian-Pullo = ♥♥♥♥♥♥
