So, to help clarify the little aside in my notes where it explains how having defensive claviculae in your castra will fuck up the orientation of your viās, I drew a little illustration. And now it just looks like I have been decorating my notebook with swastikas. In boxes.

This would be... a lot less facepalmy if I were not actually taking notes on the Roman fortifications at MASADA.
