This isn't even the first night this week. Last night, friend who lives in nearby village stayed over, so as not to have to get up at the crack of dawn to make the Oxford bus, and friend who lives in nearby student accommodation joined us. Village-friend was eager for pub-based socialising, since for once she wouldn't have to leave early to catch the bus home, but extensive text-messaging revealed that everyone else was too knackered (see: running on fumes). Decision eventually made to stay in, get drunk, and watch geeky movies/AVPM/whatever.

What actually happened: staying in, getting drunk, and debating institutional racism, misogyny and rape culture, and fatphobia, and BOYS ARE DUMB until 1:30am (and getting up at 7:30am).

Feel validated in choice of both course and friends, but at the same time LOL WHAT IS MY LIFE
