It suffers from the usual film!HP flaw of cutting out often large chunks of exposition/backstory/etc., and given the length of the book, I'm sure everyone has their scenes that they're disappointed were trimmed. But this one did so much better than any of the others at filling in the gaps, and some things that I was worried about translated SO WELL to screen. And just sd;fliasjdlfh I LOVED IT. I LOVED IT.
