Minor friends-cut! In other news: augh damn, my head hurts.

Today was crappy before it even started, thanks to unhappy dreams - which, like all recent dreams, were (thanks to medication, maybe?) hyper-realistic, narratively coherent, and just this side of 'could actually happen'. Thus, I woke up feeling as though one of my dream!roomies from dream!Dragon*Con¹ really had posted naked photos of me online (shut up). Which I suspect is:

1) a result of spending too much time reading fandom_wank this week, and

2) considering who said dream!roomie was, some unbelievably sledgehammery symbolism. Vulnerability, trust, sensitivity to perceived betrayal, negative self-image, I GET IT, SUBCONSCIOUS.

Then I had a bad conversation (not wholly unrelated to dream), and then I tried to watch Becoming Jane and only succeeded in making myself more frustrated and upset because I couldn't hear about 50% of the dialogue. Which, in an Austen(ian) movie, is something of a setback.

In conclusion, blarrgharfluehcranky.
