Things that need to stop happening yesterday:

-> going 14 hours on the strength of a salmon/cheese bagel and a Very Large Coffee, getting bus homewards from class with intention of studying in local Starbucks until it closes, realising on bus that one is dying, staggering into said Starbucks moaning GIVE ME ALL YOUR MEATS AND VITAMINS i.e. paying far too much for a stale sausage/egg/bacon panini and teeny fruit smoothie, and then crawling home in search of painkillers for the piercing headache that horrible Starbucks music did not help. Self, stop doing this.

-> Trinity stealing my Hallowe'en, aka my favourite holiday of the entire year. Fuckers.

Anyway, this week, culminating in due dates of both thesis outline and seminar presentation, will be disgustingly horrible, and afterwards I plan to cheer myself up by buying shoes. Shoes that I kind of need, on account of incoming winter wetness, admittedly, but still. SHOES.

Is there anything greater than Bette Midler's version of 'I Put A Spell On You?' from Hocus Pocus?
