Uh, I just got the application forms for the summer/autumn Commencements.

God almighty, it is easy to forget just how AMAZING Deadwood is.

*rewatching first two episodes before nap*

If I were more awake (and actually conversant in the language of critical analysis), I would talk about how the some shows (eg. Rome, BSG, Deadwood) transcend the 'genre tv'/'period piece'/whatever label by embracing it so wholeheartedly that they come out the other side.

But I'm not!
