Revelation:

Damian Lewis is approximately 438573493 times less off-putting when speaking with his normal accent. Not that I don't love Dick Winters, and not that Life isn't (I'm sure, having only seen 1 episode so far) great, but... saldkja. I don't know. For me, the accent... levels his voice out or something, and makes his delivery really CREEPY in the not-fun-to-watch sort of way.

Anyway, in conclusion: omg BoB extras andheartssemicolon.

ETA: Ngl, as much as I love Kate Beaton's original comic (so true!), the copy-pasta-ing of Irish Rebel Songs(TM) and multitudinous comments about how Irish history is ~*the best*~ Because I Am An Irish-American, etc. make me really squirmy. Not that this totally wouldn't happen anyway, because... come on, you guys know me and my Mixed-Up Irish Issues of Lol, but. The cultural appropriation failtacle hasn't really helped, and now I can even sort of begin to frame coherent reasons why. (Sort of.)
