HOKAY. I have had super-limited interweb access the last week or so, and none over the past couple of days, but luckily, I uploaded all of these to Mediafire before leaving the country. So here we are, the long-awaited music post consisting solely of covers of what is, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest pieces of music ever composed: Carol of the Bells. Follow the cut to frolic in all the versions I had time to upload, both traditional and somewhat more... unconventional. Battery running low, so I don't have time to describe them all, but they are ALL worth a listen. All of them. Possibly I will upload more when I return to a more reliable internet connection. History lesson! Carol of the Bells was originally a Ukranian folk song called Schedryk, sung around the time of the New Year in hope of plenty in the year to come. So, here are some gorgeous versions of the latter for your enjoyment:
