sophistry: ([Misc] pretty pretty princess)

(no subject)

You know, all the reviews I've read of Lush's The Strokes hair moisturiser and the Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo all complain about the smell, but I think they smell divine. Possibly it is my inbuilt genetic attraction to Irish Stout or something. *sniffs hair happily*

I am pondering following the flist trend of late, and taking some time during term break to get my hair cut. It always takes me forever and a day to decide these things, and then I always just opt for the most boring cut available. But... oh, hair. It's never really recovered from the Magical Mystery Illness of the year before last, after the months of not being able to move my arms enough to deal with it when it was ass-length (this was it curled and in an up-do), the subsequent chopping to bob-length, and That Summer, during which I lost about half of what was left in great big handfuls. And now that it's grown down past my shoulders, the damage is just... so visible, and... blagh. The temptation to really go short-short and start over is strong, but I know from past experience that I look frankly ridiculous with a pixie cut (and don't even talk to me about a Britney).

:-??

I have not cut my hair in four years.

I feel terribly out of style, all of a sudden.

What about short-ish? Not short short like Tank Girl, but short-ish like a Beetlejuice Winona - just not with that fringe. Or, obviously, the ghosts etc...

*points* Imp pimp! :O

Er. I am not so helpful here, but if there's damage and you don't want to go short, there are a lot of halfway measures that a good stylist can take. I had a horrible experience with bad layering cut by a friend, and had to wait a month or two before I could seek professional help. ;) But it sounds like you do have quite a bit to work with.

I remember mine was gold. I rented it out, mostly because I don't do dresses very much to justify buying one. That is so, so pretty. Wow. *_*

Aw. :( Mine was okay, though I had one drink throughout the whole thing. Jury's had a complete underage drinking clampdown that year and I was four months off being 18. :(( Bastards.

You could go for a slightly longer bob. Between the ears and shoulders, maybe?

BTW, you look gorgeous in your debs dress. Seriously.
