sophistry: ([GO] big damn heroesss)

This is about the MOST appropriate this icon has ever been.

Sushi-breaks from studying make life better. Sushi-breaks wherein I actually get a computer with a chair make life pretty sweet.

I forgot to be a proper LJ-er and update about my dream; it was the climactic scene(s) of the latest plot afoot amongst the Milliways FF/GO, except transposed into a sort of... desaturated, blue-tinted anime-noir setting. Trés Cowboy-Bebop-credits style visuals - mist, drizzle, and the greyish glow of streetlamps on puddles and the hood of the Bentley. It was all very quiet except for the sound of the rain and swish of cars, and it all went down in front of a very big, very gothic church. People had their shirtsleeves rolled up, and their jackets slung over their shoulders, and everyone was being very laconic (well, right up until the violence, but even that was sort of dreamy).

It was awesome. *_*

(How you can tell RP has broken my brain: even as I was dreaming in anime-noir visuals, I was thinking of what descriptors to use to convey said visuals in the tags.)

That sounds like a fantastic dream.

Now I want the actual plot to happen like that. *grin* If only it were IC for the 'verse.

Yes!

And then teach Ed Chao to smoke noirishly, instead of like a dragon-walrus. We can ship him in for atmosphere. (Or River could. Give Simon fits. Always fun! Although, really, I wouldn't be surprised if FFverse has some nicotine-free cigarettes. OF THE FUTURE.)

And we could totally work in a church in the background. Site of Historical/Cultural Significance Blah Blah Blah, running themes of men of faith, la. (Plus uniting halves of wossname's life! ...Multiple wossnames, really. The more I look at this, the more themes and echoes I find.) And, dude, any excuse to use stained glass. *is not at all eyeing some other self-indulgent plots there*

I can't decide if I'm talking myself into this or just making happy faces at the visuals that will never happen. But either way works!

Can I marry this dream too?

And and and DROPPING BITS OF THE CHURCH. It would not work in actual plot (probably), but oh that is awesome. So very much so.

I'm actually really liking the idea of a church backdrop. Not church affiliation or whatever, of course, but Ye Olde Site Of Historical And Cultural Significance What Is Pretty, where things of this nature happen periodically. (Well. Minus the [spoiler], I mean.)

...Also I just really like the idea of Crowley anime-noirishly dropping bits of buildings on people's heads.

Seems like the kind of thing he'd do.

If you can think of a plausible way to work in a certain Frog, let me know, eh ...? ;]
