I am very drunk. But the tears that won't stop coming are starting to be ones of relief. Gratitude, even, though that's a bit... backwards. Such a small thing, I needed, but it was the thing that mattered most.

But I think I can do this, now.

Or I can make a start, anyway. Make a go of it.

I may be too hung-over and puffy-eyed to appreciate it, but I think tomorrow morning will be a little brighter than the ones that have come before.
