Okay, my darlinks, we are officially Moved. I am back in my untouchable attic kingdom to pick up the last few bits and pieces, and will be tooling around for my last precious internet hours until someone else shows up to do same. I have no idea when we will be reconnected chez NewHouse - could be later today, could be two weeks from now, could be a month. The efficiency of Irish businesses. I know. Perhaps the internet gods will send me a speedy hook-up as a birthday present.
There may be internet-café-ing - is likely to be, if we are not connected soonishly - but how sporadically? Who can tell. Thus, I am contactable by email, and also by comments to this here post, if something too awesome/urgent to let me miss should arise. Or, you know, if you just want to say hey and/or check to see if I am still alive, etc.
Boxchat and IM in general, however... not so likely.
I look forward to returning to you an official year older, but probably not very much the wiser. So, until I know not when, mes chers amis, adieu.

I hope your birthday is great, and that the year ahead is filled with wonderful things -- both the ones you plan and work for, and the spontaneous surprises that take your breath away. 8D

Okay, so I found a cafe with free wireless yesterday, and I was kind of inexplicably hurt - given the sort of general Boxchat & Co. type of birthday traditions I has witnessed - that during my Internet Absence, the only 'Oh btw, happy 21st!' message in my inbox/anywhere was an automated one from FileFront. And then when we came home from rather tense family dinner thing, I discovered the faintest of unreliable wireless signals to poach, and with less than an hour of my birthday left, this comment came in.
So, uh, I just want you to know that you singlehandedly made my birthday.
Thank you.

FOOOOLS BWAHAHAHAHAThe only good thing about having it non-birthday style like this is that now you can claim birthday status for MONTHS. And Things will hit you at random intervals when you least expect them. I'm sorry I do not have it now... if 3-5 days had not turned into two weeks and counting I might have. (*shifty mumble mumble deadlines mumble*) However. It is small in the grand scheme, but still. Hopefully Rest of Birthday (which it is, really) will be an improvement. ♥
