I have incredibly unreliable, requires-acrobatic-contortions-with-laptop, poached wireless! PleaseEircomtransferourbroadbandsoonomg. ANYWAY, before connection dies, question! What with the hurried move, costumes taking up silly amounts of space, our house now being more or less off-limits until January, etc etc, I am going to have to sit out Púca Project this year. Or at least, Púca Project in the form in which I normally partake: dressing up, and bringing the Hallowe'en to the people in the streets. But! I am tentatively thinking, since our temporary NewHouse is located in a lovely leafy suburban estate, of creating a kind of utterly nondestructive, totally superficial, whimsical (sub)urban installation instead, with working title of The Wishing Tree.

This estate is full of children of a certain age.

Children of this certain age are destructive, vandal...istic(?) assholes.

Also, I'm 21! I got incredibly excited and retardedly overjoyed when I found a cafe with free wireless and checked my email/flist on my birthday, and there was one solitary email with the subject line Happy Birthday! It was an automated message from FileFront. My life. BUT HOLLY MADE IT BETTER. She will be spared when the revolution comes.

i've actually had some experience with the kids in that estate (i walk through it on my way other places a lot) and they actually seem all right.

...unless you mean teenagers, in which case i've no idea.
