I'm feeling a bit rotten after my birthday, and semi-internet-exile, etc. Therefore, I think everyone should remind me why their friends - and by extension, humanity - are wonderful. Dance for me, monkeys. Also, pimp this. Seriously. These things suck if nobody shows up.

I don't talk to her as much as I wish I did and I don't know why.

I talk to this girl every single day on the phone and it's always awesome. She's such a dork and I love her for it. :D

Jacee is a sweetheart, who'll take responsibility without being asked, who is thoughtful and kind and totally silly, and who has a hell of a good heart. Love, Jacee.

Jacee is lovely and generous and a great writer, and I can't believe I've only recently started talking to her outside of crackchat. I really hope I can meet her if I go the US next summer.

Jez saved me from the America.

No, really. It was going to eat me, and she agreed to meet me, despite having never met me in her life before, and lo, we survived the trip from airport to hotel. And then she played with me in LARP in what was one of my favourite moments ever: Harth, Mary and Dickon taking on Archibald. Oh dear. *giggles* That was wonderful.

*facepalms* That was... fun. Yes. Fun. For me, if not for the gentleman in my head at the time.

Seriously, I am glad to know Jez.

You look at Jez's writing and think "holy crap, intimidating person ahoy!" and then you meet her and get to know her and you realize she's just as geeky as you are. She is, as

neenie said, very laid back and cool.

Jez is quiet, sweet, and a lot of fun.

Haven't seen you in awhile but I still remember all the fun times we had in high school. Hope you're enjoying life, wherever you are.

I can't believe no one's mentioned her yet, but I love her Four, no matter which of my pups she's playing against and while we haven't been playing together long, she makes me smile whenever I see one of her comments.

Seriously, Jo is fantastic. She has this sort of -- matter-of-factness? That could translate to brusque, but never does, because she's so warm and friendly. She's the sort of person who offers to do you a favor before she's even met you, who you go to meet thinking you'll just talk for a few minutes and then you wind up talking for hours, and she is a fabulous hostess and gardener. Jo's one of the people I'm really glad to have met through Milliways.

Jo's wonderful! First off, she works in a comic book store: how cool is that? Second, I covet her garden. Third, she's just sweet and friendly and intelligent and happy. I'm so glad I know her.

I love him so hardcore, it's ridiculous. He's the best guy friend I've ever had, and I couldn't ask for more of a close, stable, fun friendship to have with someone.

We once spent 5 LJ pages writing snippets of fic at each other, and it never got old. 'nough said.

She wrote a Scrubs/Harry Potter crossover with minor characters, and somehow it worked and was absolutely amazing and lovely and addictive, and her fanfiction is always intelligent and beautifully detailed, with lovely turns of phrase, and she is writing Clarkson/Cho, which is wonderful and bizarre.

Her journal entries are always marvellously rambly and fascinating to read, and her thoughts on things are always interesting and well-thought-out. She always responds to comments, which is absolutely lovely, and she always has something interesting and enlightening to say.

Her comments are generally wonderful to read and amusing and thoughtful and often just ridiculously nice.
