I'm feeling a bit rotten after my birthday, and semi-internet-exile, etc. Therefore, I think everyone should remind me why their friends - and by extension, humanity - are wonderful. Dance for me, monkeys. Also, pimp this. Seriously. These things suck if nobody shows up.

I can never thank her enough, not just for re-kindling an old interest, but for taking away the shame that made me give it up to begin with. Her encouragement and incredible excitement for just about everything I did, even when coupled with critique, was so amazingly precious to me.

I still read her entries and she's so busy with RL stuff - on the one hand, I wope in the general direction of our small collection of slash fanfic :D And on the other, I'm really glad that she's having a good time out there in the real world.
