I'm feeling a bit rotten after my birthday, and semi-internet-exile, etc. Therefore, I think everyone should remind me why their friends - and by extension, humanity - are wonderful. Dance for me, monkeys. Also, pimp this. Seriously. These things suck if nobody shows up.

Gen is just brilliant - and belongs to that group of people (in my head) that I thought would be scary and aloof and too intelligent for me to talk to and then turned out to be as kind and funny as can be.

Example: It's a sign of true dedication in a person when they will stand in total silence with you in a corner for twenty minutes, trying to keep a straight face, all in the name of good characterisation.
