I'm feeling a bit rotten after my birthday, and semi-internet-exile, etc. Therefore, I think everyone should remind me why their friends - and by extension, humanity - are wonderful. Dance for me, monkeys. Also, pimp this. Seriously. These things suck if nobody shows up.

Because she has to more or less single-handedly keep an entire fandom in check, and she's doing a damned good job of it. Even though said fandom is absolutely insane and therefore probably rather difficult to keep under control. Also, she is a beautiful writer and I respect her enormously.
