I've... I think I've figured out a way to - just barely - boost my reception (a flickery 1-2 bars to a more or less steady 3). But it isn't pretty.

And I may need to go to the shops to replace the kitchen stock of tin-foil, tomorrow.

We'll see how long this lasts - I'm somewhat skeptical of my Household Hax^TM actually working. But for now: VICTORY. Just please god no lightning storms.

I've finally realised that our internet here seems to work best after midnight. My episode of House took three hours to get up to 100mb and now it's suddenly done 50mb in less than an hour. I don't get it. But hopefully Eircom will stop being asses. :(
