It may be the wine talking, but GOD. S6 of The West Wing is making explode with love for minor characters. I'm looking at you, Congressman Santos.

Considering that s5, which kinda received a critical pummelling, was enough to pull me in, I'm pretty much going to have to go back and excavate my dad's s1-4 boxsets once we move back in at home, aren't I.

.....you have NO IDEA how much awesome is stuffed into the first four seasons. And I have a great fondness for the Santos seasons as well.

*bites tongue*

TWW is one of those shows that does things with 'ships that I never expect and yet I end up loving all of them anyway. ALL of them. Especially Kate Harper's. La la la.

I cannot even begin to talk about how screamingly full of AMAZING TWW S1-4 are. Like... I haven't seen past where Aaron Sorkin stopped writing, after Season 4? But by all accounts, this is some of the most magnificent TV ever aired in the history of ever.

So, yes, you should watch it. Watch it alllllll.

Early West Wing is the best. I actually haven't seen much of the later seasons, but then I tuned back in for the very end of the series and cried like a little girl at it ending, so that's hpw much of an emotional hold the show still has on me.
