ETA: Today is apparently my day for self-indulgent bad movies made of pretty. Okay, Reign Over Me is actually very good, and was hard for me to watch and if you have seen it maybe you know why, but now?

The film was awful, but I hated myself for watching it so avidly. Oh, Paul, talk Latin to me.

And let's be honest: Alfred Molina and Ian McKellen are not without their own sort of appeal.

And it has a great soundtrack.

And locations/cinematography.

So basically, it has everything going for it except the plot. Well, that and Tom Hanks' mullet.
