Random excruciating inner ear pain? Do not want!
I feel like, if I really devoted the time and energy to it, I could come up with a mildly coherent post re: Apocalypto, and how - if you don't try to associate it with any actual Real History or Real Civilisations at all (OH MEL GIBSON NO) - it actually does work pretty well as an abstracted, pseudo-mythic story. I mean, almost fetishistically (WORD???) obsessed with death and blood, but then... aren't all the oldest and best myths/stories? Luckily for you, whilst I may have the time, I do not have the energy. Also, I actually just wanted to tune out and watchPaul Bettany Firewall. Shitty Sky Digital recording system!
In other news, I am taking driving lessons soon. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
