Oh my god, I slept for like fucking twelve hours. I think I will never be alert again.

In other news, my posts are brief and uninformative all too often these days. Where by 'all too often', I mean 'pretty much always'. Thus: give me things to talk about! Things about me ("So you never told us what happened with _____; what's up with that?"), or just things in general ("UR THOTS ON _____, LET YOU SHOW US THEM."), it's all good. Since this is me we're talking about, you should obviously take that as no guarantee whatsoever that I will ever actually get around to posting about your topic of choice. But I've got to talk about something sometime, right?

I SERIOUSLY MISS IT LIKE A LOT. How do you keep such totally crazy hours??

Because at the moment, I am in the wind! I am keeping a beady eye on job postings, but I cannot in good conscience apply for a part-time job for the year until college-y things are locked down. And THOSE are all ahhhh what at the moment because, due to [tl;dr], I am off-books this year and sitting my degree exams in the summer. Which means I am on my own for studying, which is fine except I won't be re-registering as a normal student, and so I do not know how I will have access to the library, i.e. all the resources I will actually need to study for these exams, and my tutor told me at the beginning of summer to get with her at the start of the '08/'09 year and we would figure that out but I am starting to freak out a little because the college handbook actually says that grad students who go off-books for a year don't get to use the library, but 'going off-books' and 'going off-books to present for examinations the following summer' are actually different things, and the handbook doesn't specify either way for undergraduates, and my tutor is on ACADEMIC LEAVE, and her substitute WON'T EMAIL ME BACK AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.

So in conclusion: I kind of need to know what the situation is there (library hours!) before committing any other chunk of my time to gainful employment. Which means that at the moment, I have fuck-all better to do.

This makes sense! And you have far better reasoning than me for keeping insane hours. Mostly because you actually have some reasoning.

I have not made any more art! But tonight I SWEAR TO GOD TONIGHT, I WILL NOT FORGET AGAIN, I will wrap up the Papertrail box and get my dad to put it in the post. Mmmm, abusing company DHL costs.

I am pleased because the grand trip to D*C and then to Colorado did not take quite as huge a bite out of my year's savings as I had feared. With what I have left, and the money I got for my birthday, I am tentatively eyeing the student deals Apple does for Trinity, w/r/t Macbook in the hizzouse. HOWEVER, the dilemma is: spend cash and get one now? Or wait until after my exams and hold my dad to his promise of one as a graduation present, sucking it up and dealing with my ever more decrepit four-year-old two-ton Dell laptop in the intervening 9-10 months? QUANDARY.

Finally: I am still proud of myself for coming up with a Crowleyplot, getting everything done I promised myself I would, and getting it all posted by the deadline I gave myself. I won't make any claim that it was particularly good writing, but I made words come out, I accomplished a set task, and I am following through afterwards. WOO, baby steps.

Yeah, it's fixed - according to the discussion forums, a bunch of other people had been having the same problem over the last month or so. Apparently the solution is to log out, clear cookies/cache/etc., then log back in; after a couple of goes, that worked for me.

Ohhh good. \o/
