You will see the flaws in it all over the place, but you should totally read it anyway. If you can't find an unabridged version from the library, I can grab my copy when I'm home for Thanksgiving. It's one of the books I keep pondering bringing back anyway. I'm sure it's unabriged, because it's fairly old and it's full of the hilarious Theosophical and pseudo-Buddhist interludes.
