Today's accomplishment: whipping out the screwdriver and installing new memory for my laptop (2GB OM NOM NOM) without electrocuting myself or destroying anything in the process.

Yes! Um, assuming your laptop is not from The Mysterious Land of Apple. But... I don't know, I sort of thought I would be up to my elbows in circuitry, but - on my laptop, anyway - the module thingy is like... right there under a panel in the bottom.
