I cried, I'm not going to say I didn't. But my dad and my sister were there with me; I didn't cry like I did on Election Night.

And then I came upstairs, and went straight to find a clip of 'Air and Simple Gifts'.

I am sobbing - big, gulping, messy, happy sobs.

Goddamn.

Yo Yo Ma looked like he was having such a blast! All the musicians seemed to be having a great time. Gorgeous music. *sigh*

That was actually one of the things that destroyed me, once I was able to watch it by myself - the sheer JOY in the piece. Yo-Yo Ma was seriously grinning like a loon, and Anthony McGill would've been, except for that whole clarinet-in-the-mouth thing. But you could tell anyway.

Oh, damn, I am misting up again.
