In the wake of the disaster in Haiti, I know I am not the only one who has been astounded and moved by the way in which fandom has come together, both in smaller groups and under the larger aegis of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
help_haiti, to give so generously both of its time and from its pocket. However, amongst all this industry and all this incredible massing of resources, one very important fact has been forgotten.
And it is this:
Fandom's greatest power is its ability to produce porn. Porn, for anything and anyone, and at any time. And with great power comes great responsibility.
