Yes, Mummy, I'm aware that I look like a freak - I can't really control my nervous habits, and it's pretty unfortunate that a new one has manifested itself in the form of pulling at my eyebrows instead of, you know, biting my nails/scratching at scabs/moles/etc. I mean, nobody looks at my hands, and I wear long sleeves, so that's alright, but yes. It had occurred to me that the decimation of my eyebrows at the hands of a nervous tic makes me look lopsided and stupid.

There's a reason I tend to laugh in mostly silent wheezes, and it's this: I don't think I can even describe the noise I just made whilst laughing at something my sister said, except by saying that it sounded like some sort of terrifying bioengineered fruity lovechild of Woody the Woodpecker and Goofy. I'm not even joking. I wish I'd recorded it. If I ever make that noise in public, I will have to run away and lock myself in the toilet and drown myself in the flush. Like, I just sort of... "HuhuhuhuhHUHUH!", and then we both just like. Stared at each other in horrified silence.

I can't stop laughing.
