These were totes only ever meant to be random decorative things made from the convenient simultaneous finds of cage-shaped baubles, and bauble-sized birds. And so the first one was. But when I started theming them, I knew it was only a matter of time before I wound up making fandom birds.

I have an adorable red cardinal, but it would be such a waste of money to buy a bunch of Barbies/Kens/whatevers just to rip their heads off to dangle beneath a Sleepy Hollow birdcage. Right? Right?
