It's so incredibly lame of me, but I still get a little verklempt when, in Star Trek: First Contact, Vulcan #1 takes down his hood, gives The Sign, and tells Zephram Cochrane to "Live long, and prosper."

And then they do a wide shot of Cochrane offering his hand for a handshake, and Vulcan #1 tentatively taking it, and oh, Star Trek.

Oh! I am kind of jumpy on milli_wei stuff because I don't have it on any flist that I read, and can only see locked stuff using R's journal, etc. so I always think I've missed something.

I will watch some more of my FCE training video. I have hated the teacher from the start, for some reason, so I spend more time analyzing that than actually concentrating on what I'm supposed to learn. Which means re-watching. Which means more grinding of teeth. Anyway, by the time I get through all that you will likely be finished. :D?

Oh, it's broken down into bits that range from 1 to 10 minutes each. Overall it's like 6 hours, so no need to hurry. ;)

Do the tracking thing where it emails you when somebody posts to the comm! You have to be logged in to see the actual post, but it will send you this "X has posted an entry in [comm]!" alert email thing.

I have it for all the planning comms I am a member of now, and it relieves my mind greatly.
