Perhaps a theologian from the Royal Society during, say, the Enlightenment? Someone who would be inclined to study/discuss the things you are studying! I bet you could find someone appropriate in Stephenson's Baroque Cycle. >.>

To be honest, I am actually using what I've learnt for Stephen - he's not a theologian, but he knows more than enough to keep me bust with. The Catholicism really helps. And Michaelmas term I did several papers of natural theology, which with natural philosophy with some added implications.
